ZEC was established in 1958, and it specialized in the production of abrasive discs on vulcanized fiber and on plastic to be fitted on angle grinders. The discs that mostly feature the full range of products of the Company are the ZEC Semiflex disc, ZEC Plastic disc which since thirty years are being appreciated in Italy as well as on the most important industrialized markets world-wide, like the USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, and their reliability and safety of use are also witnessed by the approval granted by the Deutscher Schleifscheibenausschuss, that is the top approval granted by the authority for the control of the safety of abrasive discs in Germany.

The ZEC Company, for the distribution of its discs, both in Europe and overseas, is availing itself of the most qualified Firms in this field, the incisive commercial action of which is featured by the participation in the most important exhibitions, through its main Italian and foreign customers. The ZEC discs are the outcome of the work of a Company that is advanced from a technological point of view, this Company having made in these last years important investments for the "robotization" of the manufacturing process by means of the installation of specific handling equipment, that was designed and made for ZEC on purpose; furthermore, ZEC never omitted to bring about steady improvements in water and air cleaning process, for the environmental protection and as a warranty of the reliability and continuity of a Firm which is the expression of Italian entrepreneur-ship.
