Learn how to sculpt a human head and all the features with renown sculptress Mira Welnowska. Beginning Saturday morning, students will set up their armature, and start building up the mass of the head structure using Le Beau Touche` (a very smooth sulphur-free modeling clay available in 3 colors) or Wed Clay (a water based clay with a smooth, fine grain that hardens to a leathery finish with less cracking than most water based clays)

There will be a live model available so that students can translate what they see into 3D. Mira will introduce facial plane structure, and the proportion and anatomy of portraiture. Under her instruction, students will learn how to form a head, and develop the features of the face.
