Sculpting the Figure in Clay in Tuscany with Sculptor/instructor Gwen Marcus
Cortona, Italy July 17-24, 2010
The workshop will explore figurative sculpture. From beginners to advanced levels, it will cover form, proportions, relationships, and the flow of a composition. The class will teach techniques working in water-based clay with a live nude model. There will be a set pose to work from for the duration of the workshop. Through demonstrations and individual attention every day, each student will learn and be given personal direction in creating an exciting figurative composition.

Plaster casting and final casting, packing & shipping costs extra, and are the responsibility of each person who would like to cast their work.
